"As a parent of two children with autism, I have firsthand experience of the challenges families can face when trying to access inclusive and meaningful activities. With over 10 years of experience in social care and a strong background in supporting the education of children with special educational needs, I started Lightbeam Community Interest Company (CIC) to create the kind of supportive, engaging opportunities I once struggled to find for my own family. My goal is to help other parents and carers feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their own journeys."

"With a strong background in early years education and nursery care, I’ve always been passionate about supporting children in their developmental journey. As a parent to a child with autism, I understand the importance of inclusive environments where every child feels valued and understood. I first connected with Lightbeam as a parent attending one of the groups, and the sense of community and support I found inspired me to get more involved. Now, as a director, I’m proud to help shape a space where families like mine can thrive and feel truly welcomed. "
